Food was great! The food by itself is worth the 5 star rating. Service wasn't bad, however the owner of the restaurant made an effort to assist in serving our table and was very polite, kind and attentive.

Seated very quickly. Parking out front and around downtown requires an app. Food was good, and service was nice.

Great food and service in a neat old building. Classic breakfast menu with lots of options; serves lunch, too.

Best breakfast in town. The restaurant moved about a block's distance not too long ago and the new digs are a lot more spacious. The bottomless coffee is probably the best in town but it's $3.95. Regardless, if you have no problem with Starbucks prices, then this shouldn't bother you. Also, you have to serve yourself coffee from the coffee bar. The servers range from cheerful and smiley to benign aloofness. Expect to wait for a table during peak hours Sunday morning (tennish). I don't like the fact that I have to pour my own coffee (especially when i always leave at least a 25% tip). And i am not pleased when the ocassional server wears a perpetual frown. However I continue to frequent Miltons because of the great food, ambiance, and downtown location. I also like the owner--a very pleasant African American named David, who has owned and operated this great Cafe for over 25 years.

The delicious food, coffee, and service on a busy Sunday were outstanding. I was glad I made reservations which got us seated within minutes of our arrival. It's worth the drive from Kansas City.

Went here for a late lunch with a couple friends not too long ago. We went at noon because they close at one, so there was only a couple other customers. I ordered the veggie grill sandwich and added grilled chicken. I also had a side of chips. The sandwich was really flavorful and was very full of veggies, pesto, and chicken! Kettle chips were average so I'm not sure if they were made in-house. Restaurant didn't have a ton of seating, but was cute. Looked like there was a decent sized patio for nicer days. The prices were overall very affordable. The breakfast menu was quite larger than the lunch so, I'm looking forward to coming back in the morning sometime.
